My eSIM is not connecting to the destination.

If you have any problems connecting your eSIM, please follow the steps below.


1. Are you in the eSIM coverage area?


Please note that your eSIM will only work in the destination where you purchased it. For example, a US eSIM will only work in the US. You can install the eSIM on your device at any time, but it will not connect to any network until you arrive. at the destination.

2. Enable data roaming

Data roaming must be enabled for the eSIM to connect to a network.

iPhone / iPad (iOS)


In the Settings from your phone, go to Cellular (Mobile or Mobile Service) and select the eSIM data plan under “ Cell Phone Plans ". The eSIM plan can be called " Secondary " Or " Staff ".
Make sure the “Activate this line” option is enabled.
Make sure data roaming is enabled.


Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Open them Settings and access Connections.
Press " Mobile networks ".
Check that data roaming is enabled.


Google Pixel (Android)

Open them Settings.
Press " Network and Internet ".
Press " SIM ". On the next page, select the eSIM plan.
Enable data roaming and mobile data.

3. Configure your phone to use eSIM for mobile data

Apple iOS (iPhone)

In the Settings from your phone, go to “ Mobile » (Mobile service).
Press " Cellular Data » (Mobile Data) at the top of the screen to access the menu for selecting the data plan to use.

Make sure the eSIM is selected. It may be called " Secondary ", " Personal ", " Journey " or another name.


Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Open them Settings and access " Connections ".
Press " SIM Card Manager » at the top of the screen. On the next page, select the eSIM plan for mobile data. The phone will then use the eSIM plan for data connections.


Google Pixel (Android)

Open them Settings .
Press " Network and Internet ".

Press " SIM » and, on the next page, select the eSIM plan.

4. Android only - Configure APN

If you are using an eSIM on an Android device and there is no data connection, please check the APN settings by following the steps below:

In the Settings from your phone, go to Mobile and Network (on Samsung, go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks ).
Press the eSIM plan , then on Access point names .
Press Menu , then on New APN .
In the first field titled APN , enter globaldata . If a username or password is entered, delete it. Only the APN name is required .
Return to the previous screen and select the new APN.

5. Reset data connection

In your device's Settings, turn on Airplane mode and wait 30 seconds, then turn it off. This will force the device to reconnect to the cellular network. Wait up to 15 minutes for the eSIM plan to authenticate and begin receiving 4G LTE or 5G data.

6. Manually selecting a network

If resetting your data connection doesn't work, you may need to manually select a network. Follow the steps below:

Apple iOS (iPhone)

Open them Settings
Go to the “ Cellular » and select the eSIM data plan under “Cellular Plans”.
Press " Network selection » and, on the next screen, disable « Automatic » Wait for the list of available networks to appear.
Manually select an available network and wait for the signal status to update. You should see the signal status in the top bar change to "Searching" when you select a new network.
After finding a network that connects, re-enable “ Automatic ".
